How to Enjoy the Old West Lifestyle in Grand Canyon?

Grand Canyon should be a great destination if you seek to get an adventure tour. The gigantic gorge is a focal point for any trip in the United States with an authentic Wild West feel. You can reach Grand Canyon from Las Vegas through the Nevada desert. You can start by having an overnight start at a real cowboy camp near the Lake Powell reservoir. In order to better enjoy the local landscape, you should hike across the Monument Valley, which is a portion of the Colorado plateau. It is a frequent backdrop of many western films for decades. Grasp the opportunity to imagine that you are travelling back in time in the middle of cowboys and Native Americans territory.

You can travel across the desert using jeep to the Navajo settlement, a tribe which is native to the area. You may also visit the Cameron Trading Post, where Hopi and Navajo tribes traded their livestock, blankets, wool and other wares in the past. You shouldn’t forget going to the Native American Indian Art Antiques Gallery to see firsthand exhibits and learn about local history. You may examine pottery, antique beadwork and various Old West memorabilia. You can also find various Native American artworks on sale, which can become a wonderful momentos from your trip.

Grand Canyon is obviously the prime focus and attraction of the area. From virtually any spot, you can get jaw-dropping views. The deep gorge was carved by the Colorado river over millions of years. You may do sunrise and sunset walks around the area to watch the area in its natural glory. If your budget allows, it’s a good idea to take the helicopter ride and it’s an experience you will never forget. From the Grand Canyon National Park, you can take a trip down the Route 66 or the Mother Road. The highway was constructed to connect various communities and towns between Los Angeles and Chicago.

The Hoover Dam is a formidable-looking concrete structure, which provides water and sustainable power utilities for California, Arizona and Nevada since 1936. Las Vegas can be your last stop before your journey home. The casinos are obviously the city’s most famous attractions. Even if you don’t gamble and it’s your forte, you can still visit Cesar’s Palace, the fountains of the Belagio, the sirens of Treasure Island and the volcanoes of the Mirage. There are many things in these casinos that are more entertaining than the gambling itself. In the city, you can go to the Las Vegas Natural History Museum to learn more about the history of the area. At the Freemont Street Experience, entertainment should be available for pedestrians. Performers take the streets to put on various free shows each evening.  In Las Vegas, there are many things that can attract budget-conscious holidaymakers who want to avoid gambling and expensive restaurants. The Las Vegas Mini Gran Prix should provide great racing actions for youngsters and adults. Fiesta Ice Arena could tempt any traveller who seeks to enjoy impromptu ice hockey matches.
